INTRODUCTION

THE CHALLENGE
The challenge
Moutakis.gr, making the transition from the physical world to the digital world, with the aim of establishing itself not only in the market of Serres, where its stores are located, but throughout Greece through its online store, chose to collaborate with GIM, with the main concern being to increase sales (conversion rate) and overall turnover.

THE SOLUTION
The method
The brand, having used Google Ads exclusively as its promotional medium, which was not delivering the required turnover and ROAS despite its considerable traffic, trusted GIM to improve its sales. After studying the data we had collected, we proceeded to:
- Restructure the strategy, by creating a Pmax campaign, with assets and variations based on product seasonality.
- Search campaigns, where — following tests — those with the highest ROAS were retained.
- Display Remarketing.
- Launch Facebook ads, with dynamic catalogs, static banners, and videos, capitalizing on the flow of orders.
- Creation of funnels for remarketing.
Following the successful implementation of the PPC strategy, the team moved on to implement a targeted SEO strategy, aiming to improve the brand’s organic presence and long-term viability. The SEO strategy was designed to function complementarily with the paid campaigns, focusing on on-page, content, and off-page optimizations, with the goal of continuously increasing organic traffic and conversions.
1. On-Page Optimization
- Optimization of metadata (titles, meta descriptions) with emphasis on keyword intent and improving CTR.
- Restructuring of heading structure (H1–H3) for clear thematic hierarchy and better indexing by search engines.
- Addition of Q&A sections to key sales pages, enhancing:
- coverage of People Also Ask type searches,
- user engagement,
- and the thematic completeness of the pages.
2. Internal Linking Strategy
- A strategic internal linking strategy was created with keyword-rich anchor texts, enhancing:
- navigation and relevance between pages,
- the transfer of authority from high-value pages to new or supporting pages,
- and the smooth guidance of the user within the site.
3. Content Strategy
- A keyword-focused blog calendar was designed, concentrating on long-tail queries and topics with high purchase intent.
- A blog audit was performed with the aim of optimizing older content (enhancing E-E-A-T, internal linking, semantic optimization).
- New targeted content was created (guides, Q&A posts, comparison articles) to increase topical authority and boost organic traffic.
4. Off-Page & Link Building
- Implementation of a backlink strategy through collaborations with thematically relevant and news sites.
- Application of keyword-focused anchor texts on key landing pages, combining SEO value and branding consistency.
THE RESULTS
The result
After all the above actions were taken, we achieved:
- Increase in overall turnover by 44.48%
- Increase in conversion rate by 61.85%
- Increase in total sales by 37.13%
In parallel, we achieved a significant strategic enhancement through email campaigns, automations, and flows, which contributed to the overall growth of the project. We added AI technology with Madgicx for audience creation, resulting in a noticeable increase in ROAS for campaigns promoting new products.
The targeted SEO strategy through on-page, content, and off-page actions worked collaboratively with the PPC strategy, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive digital ecosystem that enhances the project’s performance and sustainability. More specifically, it led to:

- and enhancement of the brand’s overall credibility and authority.
