INTRODUCTION

Cucinamia.gr is a specialized company offering comprehensive solutions for Italian kitchens and kitchen furniture. Its goal was to significantly increase organic traffic and conversions from its website. Our team developed and implemented a specialized SEO strategy for the period June 2024 – September 2025, focusing on the company’s needs. During this period, we focused on targeted keyword analysis, content optimization, and technical SEO improvements.

THE CHALLENGE

The challenge

The primary challenge was that the existing website for Cucina Mia had limited organic visibility: the site’s architecture and menu did not optimally serve the target keywords (e.g., kitchen countertops, interior doors), while the content and technical implementation were not fully optimized for SEO.

The challenge included the following specific objectives:

  • Outdated website and technical issues: The Cucinamia website was outdated in design and technical terms, with an aged theme, problematic mobile elements, and slow loading speed. This negatively affected both user experience and organic search rankings.
  • Limited visibility in search engines, especially for core commercial keywords such as “Italian kitchen furniture” and “Dekton countertops.”
  • Low volume of organic traffic, with only 180 average organic clicks in the initial phase (June 2024).
  • Lack of targeted content for important keywords, resulting in the site not appearing in relevant searches.
  • Inadequate conversion tracking, as GA4 was not correctly configured to record key actions such as contact forms and phone calls.

THE SOLUTION

The method

SEO Audit & Technical Redesign

The first step of the process was a complete technical evaluation of the site. The initial version of Cucinamia.gr presented serious performance issues:

  • outdated design,
  • inadequate mobile experience,
  • slow loading times, and
  • structural errors that limited the ability of search engines to index it.

We proceeded with a technical SEO audit, documented the errors, and organized a complete architectural restructuring.

The new structure ensured clean, Googlebot-friendly navigation and an improved experience for visitors across all devices.

In parallel, a comparative content analysis was carried out:

  • we identified pages with no value or low performance,
  • we updated them based on commercial keywords and SEO best practices,
  • while we enhanced existing pages with new sections, images, and UX improvements.

Keyword Research & Thematic Mapping

To establish Cucinamia.gr as an authority in the field of Italian kitchens and home design, we implemented full keyword research and clustering.

We grouped keywords into core thematic clusters such as:

  • kitchen countertops (e.g., Dekton, ceramic)
  • kitchen furniture (Italian, modern, classic)
  • interior doors (sliding, hidden)

Our goal was to create structured, topical coverage to strengthen the site’s Topical Authority in the eyes of Google. For each thematic unit, a specific content map was drafted with page types, target keywords, indicative meta titles/descriptions, and an internal linking plan.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Optimization

We used a combination of Google Search Console, GA4, and rank tracking tools for continuous monitoring:

  • We analyzed keyword trends and CTRs on a regular basis.
  • We identified queries that appeared in the top 20 positions but with a low click-through rate, and adjusted meta titles/descriptions to improve performance.
  • We set up custom event tracking in GA4 for phone calls, forms, and click-to-call buttons to have a complete picture of the organic contribution to leads.

The result

Our interventions led to impressive results. The visibility of Cucinamia.gr in search engines increased significantly, with a large number of keywords achieving much higher rankings.
